I Liked Martin Luther King and what he did. and his non-violent stance. It's a shame we no longer have a HIGHLY regarded person to take his place. I hope Barack Obama can become a leading figure for the minorities In this country. He too Is a GREAT man.
I agree with you, Toad. Our youth need leaders with integrity. They need adults who are willing to positively motivate and relate to children. I think much of the bad behavior we see, and the violence and drug culture of kids today is due to a lack of values demonstrated by "idols" who eventually fall. This has to come from people who look like them, and come from the same economic background and disadvantages that many of our kids face. There is little hope and less faith in the future for many of our children nowadays. It is very sad.
