Weekday Funny - Amazon Echo Silver

This is hilarious. Posting in case you missed it. I NEED one of these! hahahahaha

Weekend Funny

A little something to make you laugh.... Just what the doctor ordered.

Catch Charles Osgood's Last Sunday Morning Show, 9-25-16

My favorite way to start a Sunday morning is ending today. The show will go on, and will probably still be worthy of our time to watch... but it will forever be different.

This is a great news program. They tell in-depth news stories - outside of the blood, gore and media-market point grabbing controversy and spin; it is unlike any other news program. It is often relaxing, yet deeply thought provoking. I'll miss Charlie's unique contribution to all that is good in the world and his sage take on all that is not so good.

Miss Representation

This is the female version of the documentary that sparked the video I posted earlier. This isn't the same video that I saw earlier, but I think it is the same documentary.

The trailer I saw focused more on how women are taught to behave, taught to communicate. It spoke about women's actions in the workforce, how women are generally underpaid because they accept less and are afraid or reluctant to ask for raises. It mentioned that women will often sit back in a meeting and offer subtle questions and actions, whereas men will state a course of action without worrying about being diminished.

The Mask You Live In - Trailer

This is the video that I mentioned in today's open blog. I thought it was very interesting. We do a different, yet equally destructive mask shaping with girls.

See What You Are Missing

Lost in Light from Sriram Murali on Vimeo.

Amazing video!

I saw the night sky full of stars very far up north.  I'm almost certain the Milky Way was also visible. My son, who was a child, was in total awe.  It is such a shame that we pollute our skies with so much light, when science has come up with better solutions to keep us illuminated enough for safety without spreading the light upwards.

Put a Hitch in your Giddyup

For Toad.

I don't remember this one, but it always makes me happy to login to The Real Clubhouse.

By the way, friends, we are official. We received our first spam comment last night. Giddy up!

Interesting Link of the Day - Google!

Told you I have no trouble amusing myself. Some of these are really cute!

Rocky Workout Video

This little, diapered kid is doing a Rocky Balboa workout video... from the film. Watch as he anticipates the next move.

This should top out your cute meter for the day!  Thanks to Lizardmom for sharing this video to her Facebook page!  Just too amazing not to repost!

Weekday Funny

This amazing video is suddenly being shared everywhere on Facebook. It was uploaded to YouTube back in October, 2009, from Rezzato kite festival, in Italy. These kites were designed and operated by a man from France.  So cool I had to share, just in case you missed it. Can you imagine driving down the road and seeing this from afar?

Weekday Funny

Americans Try Surströmming (The Smelliest Food In The World)

Our friend Why Not shared this to her Facebook page. This is so funny I had to share with all of you!

Every culture has some disgusting food they consume. These people are so brave to try it, despite their initial reaction to the smell.

Warning..... if you easily gag, or feel sympathy queasiness, this might be hard to watch. ;>

What is the most questionable thing you've eaten????

One Cool Cop!

Today must be "Share a Video" day.

Movie Dance Scenes Mashup

Best mashup ever! Whether you like the song or not, this took some talent to put together all these old movies so perfectly!

Short shorts get dancer barred from Jetblue flight

Certainly not something I'd choose, but everything is covered? You see a lot of underwear, too much underwear with men sagging their pants. You also see very short (and tight) skirts, bare midriffs with piercings, and a lot of cleavage. Was it a reasonable call? What do you think?

The Real Clubhouse - South of the Border

A typical day in our south of the border homestead? Ay dios mios!

New Above Ground "Subway" to Debut in China

Have you seen this? New transportation set to roll out in China in the second half of this year. The main innovation of this "straddling bus" is that it runs above cars and under overpasses.

The TEB has the same functions as the subway, while the cost of construction is less than one fifth of building the infrastructure of a subway, according to the engineer in charge of the project. Construction is quicker and easier and can be finished in one year. It is predicted that it could reduce traffic congestion in large, congested cities by as much as 30 per cent.

Personally, I would freak out if it came up from behind and rolled over the top of me!

Piggy Video

Every respectable short girl knows that you open the door, and climb up the shelves. This is so cute, and made me laugh. Persistence does pay off!
