Time for another update:

This handy little chart comes weekly via email, without effort. Nice.

The following chart from our data site can be manipulated to select specific spans of time and pull various data, and well, there is color, so it is pretty.

Notice the new Growth Plan at the top, along with our "Overall Industry Ranking."  Not too shabby! I'll take a B- overall, any day!

Stated simply, we have over 8,500 web page views, 200+ individual blogs posted, and 820 (and counting) comments to blogs. We continue to flirt with 80-100 page views on average, per day. All of this data has been generated in only 3 months. We are healthy and active! We are also starting to pick up a few new regular readers. 

Here is the deal, you matter! If you have posted blogs, thank you. Please post more. I love to see what you are doing, too. If you haven't posted, please at least attempt it. It is very easy, and it doesn't have to be a masterpiece. Copy something you found interesting on Facebook, or post a picture you like (see previous blog with screen shots for direction.)  

Also, when you do peek in throughout the day, make sure you leave a comment. I can see when people visit, but you and others can't. By posting a comment, others get confirmation that they "didn't kill the blog, " or worry they might have "posted a dud." It is the friendly, nice thing to do. If you are new to our site, please leave a comment. We welcome new input. We value it.

Extreme thanks to those who have authored blogs. This is important to keeping us diverse and interesting!  If you haven't tried it, please do. It is easy, and we are here to help you, if needed.

Remember to talk our page up, and leave comments when you peek in to visit, to let others see that the page is active. Share posts to Facebook and to your friends. New input is vital, and can add so much to the fun.

Congratulate yourselves on the process! I've noticed that we are back to celebrating and playing again. What we've accomplished as a group in a few short weeks is more than amazing!  Cheers!

96 blogs posted. 411 comments published. 4,465 page views tallied since we started this little project. We are hovering around 100 page views daily. We are open for business.

I'm proud that we are seeking our own destiny. I'm thrilled to continue to have all of you as a part of my daily circle and support. I'm so glad we didn't let our community fade. 

Is it time for you to click that pencil icon, or little box that says new post? Will you take the next step and try to post your own thread? It doesn't have to be perfect or beautiful. You don't have to add a picture or video, just text. Let's talk about what is on your mind. Anything. Really....

(Tip: on the toolbar there are 2 boxes which say "Compose," and "HTML." Make sure you are in "Compose." It is extremely easy to post that way, much like posting a comment.)

3,013 page loads in the first 4 weeks!

The visits are all targeted, the data shows they aren't being forwarded from random, outside Google hits. You, and a few others are visiting the page and using it. Talk it up, pat yourself on the back! Keep those authored blogs coming!  Please try to leave more comments and initiate more conversation. At times I still get a panicky feeling that I'm talking to myself.

Good morning, friends.... can we talk?


We've been through a transition. A surprise transition. A sad transition. More than just a name change or web URL.  With this change came growth, and strength. We have a choice. We have a voice.

I'm asking you to consider picking one of your friends. A close friend, an internet user friend. Someone who might be open to finding new friends. Send them a personal invitation to come see our new site. Ask them to leave a comment. Let them know that we are willing to accept them. New people bring new ideas and new life.

I have been amazed when looking at our data. (you know that has always been my job)  We have been off the charts. We have already had 1,500 pageviews to the new site. We are stable, despite the shakeup. It is all because of you, and the common friendships we've built over the last 8 years. I am also so thrilled to have some people return, who had been less visible in the recent past.

And now for new and exciting business:  Let me personally introduce you to my friend, Greg. We've farmed together and chatted via Facebook for years. We've never met in person, but he is like a brother to me, true blue and a great guy. Say hi to him... he is funny and smart and I'm sure if he chooses to stay, you will like him as much as I do. Thanks, Greg, for being brave enough to jump in the pool!
