Sable and the Bird

She thinks she tough stuff standing on that rock. Yep, just because of a Carolina Wren. Silly dog. It perched on a flower stem for merely a moment and Sable spotted it. She couldn’t be convinced it had left.

Yep, she attacked our flowers in this tub. Grrrr. My one snapdragon bit the dust and it was blooming. Little bitch.

Yes, we allow Sable to see other dogs. This is Miller, one of our FL evacuees. Irma sent Miller and family to our home for safety. We were so happy to see them pull in. Irma was a monster storm in size and wind speed. After seeing the destruction it left in the Keys and what Maria has done to Puerto Rico, I think you can understand my feeling of relief when this dear family pulled into our driveway.

SC in the Summer

This is where we have been spending our time this summer. Waterfalls and mountains. While FL was experiencing Hurricane Irma, we were here in the foothills, thinking we were safe. Kaboom, Irma shows up and kills our electric. We had six FL evacuees here with an extra dog and a parrot. But, we were experiencing cool weather. Whew. We went two days without electric. Gas grill, candles and flashlights. We survived and even had a fire in our pit with s'mores! Life without electricity, the internet and TV wasn't all bad.
