This is where we have been spending our time this summer. Waterfalls and mountains. While FL was experiencing Hurricane Irma, we were here in the foothills, thinking we were safe. Kaboom, Irma shows up and kills our electric. We had six FL evacuees here with an extra dog and a parrot. But, we were experiencing cool weather. Whew. We went two days without electric. Gas grill, candles and flashlights. We survived and even had a fire in our pit with s'mores!
Life without electricity, the internet and TV wasn't all bad.
Beejay, Just like camping, but with REAL facilities not needing electricity. Did the Parrot do much talking?
