(But remember to use sunscreen!)
I will post daily open blogs for awhile, but sure would like friendly folks to post items of interest, too. I'm too boring on my own.
Hope to see you soon!

Earthables, Windowless Planes
Not sure about this. Looks so cool... but, they could just show you anything, right?
Open Blog - Wednesday
The trees are loving the warmer temperatures and the recent rainfall.
It is gorgeous in Racine this time of year.

If you are interested in this... The news last night stated that Mercury is passing between the Earth and the Sun today. The orbit makes the passing visible. Evidently this is a rare occurrence. Milwaukee has a few sites set up with filtered telescopes (so you don't blind yourself.)
There is also a live stream here:http://livestream.com/SkyandTelescope/Mercury//
Live stream is 7:00am - 3:00 p.m. EDT
It is basically a black dot on a white background, but you can say you saw it. There are also geeky guys talking about it. ;>

Van Gogh Animation
Just saw this on the news. Very cool. Artists are painting frame by frame to bring Vincent Van Gogh's masterpieces to life. They said it takes 2 weeks to do just one frame. Think I'd love to see this when they finish.
One of my favorite places to go is the Art Institute of Chicago. I usually have to be pulled from the Impressionist painting room: Monet, Degas, Caillebotte, Rembrandt, Seurat, Van Gogh. Just gorgeous.
This Animated Movie About Van Gogh Is Made Entirely of Oil Paintings. The final product will include more than 56,000 paintings
The film is called Loving Vincent, and it is on track to be the world's first feature length animated film made entirely of paintings.
