If you are interested in this... The news last night stated that Mercury is passing between the Earth and the Sun today. The orbit makes the passing visible. Evidently this is a rare occurrence. Milwaukee has a few sites set up with filtered telescopes (so you don't blind yourself.)

It is basically a black dot on a white background, but you can say you saw it. There are also geeky guys talking about it. ;>
I'm sure our buddy hale is all over this, capturing some great images. I'm home today with a terrible broken arm. Not bones? Can't move it without severe pain. Can't sleep. Dr. appointment in an hour or so. Hard to type with one hand. Barely able to get showered and dressed... not good!

ReplyDeleteThanks. Still home. Had 2 injections yesterday and have more mobility, but still pain. Can't return to work until I can dress myself. Geech!
