My mother and her adages.... she often said, "Choose your words and say them sweet, you never know which ones you'll eat." My mother was very wise in many ways. I'm thankful for her direction and miss her terribly.
My mother was TOUGH. I don't think I learned too much kindness from her, although, she alway's stressed not to JUDGE. That was a biggie for her. She was a very strong Catholic, but just plain TOUGH to us. In her workplace, she was a princess, and an invaluable asset, and NONE better at the job she did. I really don't recall her ever saying a bad thing to anyone personally, I guess I took hold of that trait.
