I can find the most off track things on which to spend my time: I once read about how the pioneer women cut their rose bushes before they left their homes to head west. They wrapped the rose cuttings in wet cloths and brought them to their new homestead. They placed the cuttings into the soil, watered it, and put a mason jar upside down over the cuttings to make a terrarium which let in sunlight and warmth, and also trapped the moisture.
Well, I gave it a try a couple of years ago, and son-of-a-gun... it worked! So, I'm back at it. We'll see if I can make the magic happen again. It is so simple, it seems impossible.

A new "Pioneer Woman" by any other name of course. Congratulations.
