Open Blog - Wednesday

For the next 3 weeks, I'm the test giver, a.k.a  the proctor.
It beats being being the "testee" and being judged, but it is just as stressful a process to watch.
Have you ever sat for the SAT, ACT, IB, AP or another 4-5 hour high stakes test?

  1. KK, I can't even remember taking the SAT. I am however CERTAIN, like the quiz I take on Facebook, I ACED It. According to Facebook, I'm the ORiGINAL " Smartypants ".

  2. When I enrolled in college, they didn't require you to take the SAT/ACT. If you had money to spend, and your high school transcripts were notable, they would accept you without the test scores. Of course, there were less students competing to get in. I did, however, have to take it as an adult for my job. It was pretty stressful to sit for that many tests in a row. I was pretty spent when I finished... and my Algebra/Trig skills were not what they used to be. (use it or lose it issues)

  3. " Algebra/Trig, What the hell Is that, and my TRANSCRIPTS, If you can find them, BURN them. When I was 20, I had a lovely bus trip to Milwaukee for my Draft Physical. All they really wanted were men that could breathe. Anyhow, I flunked the physical, Thank God. 1969 was NOT a time to get drafted. They also give you a very lengthly test. I have now idea how I did, but I NEVER could figure out how a cardboard cut-out looked when It was put together. LOL. I am of course much more intelligent now, and would do great If I did It over again (throw out World History, and English) Maybe Science also. Maybe I should just take Choir, Business Ed. and Home Room?
