Today we celebrate 1 full year at our new location. We are not quite a teenager, yet. I believe next month we celebrate 10 years of independent blogging and friendship. We can count even more if you figure in our original news site where we all met. My, how the time flies!
It has been an honor meeting and getting to know you all!
To any readers, please join us in comments, fun and frolics. We welcome your addition!
Geez times go by fast. Makes me realize in 30 days Hobby Lobby will be putting out their Christmas decorations. I like it here better.
ReplyDeleteI like it here, as well. There is enough negative in the world. It is nice to have a respite from that. I do miss the variety of people we once had, and truly mourn those we've lost along the way.
ReplyDeleteIt seems like Christmas is celebrated 9 months out of the year. Too much for me to handle. Greed is far too prevalent in our society. It is the non-material things that really bring happiness.
Thanks for hanging out here, friends. Each one of you have brought happiness to my life.
Happy Birthday!!
ReplyDeleteWELL, YaAll know how I feel about my FRIENDS. Lost forever without. I drive by MC, at times, and don't even catch her outside. Don't even see Suzie. I was looking for my cousin In Mustang, OK. to pass the news on, but couldn't find her. Did get a call back from some NICE elderly lady though that I left a message her Cousin Bill died. Oddly enough she doesn't have a Cousin Bill. Lucky her. I'm wondering what KK Is up to these day's. It's too darn cold do do planting. I even have the heat on to 69. Must be old age, can't stand the cold anymore? My companion Winnie, Is getting slower by the day. I dread the day. In closing, I don't know where the others that used to be part of this group went, but I REALLY wish they would come BACK. PLEASE come back and tell us all what has been going on.
ReplyDeleteI'm working, Toad. There are 23 days left to the school year. It starts to fly by very quickly at this point. I started planting some seeds in little pots on the windowsill to eventually plant outside, if it ever gets warm enough to trust they will survive. I have lots of Roma tomato seedlings up and ready to go and a few pepper plants.
ReplyDeleteI've also peeked into the former site to see if anyone is still there. It is a ghost town; nothing like what we used to be as a united group. It was grand in its day.
Sorry to hear that Winnie is doing poorly. She sure has had a full life. Again, sorry about your brother. It stinks to get older. We lose all the good ones.Take care, Toad. We need to hear from you from time to time.... or we start to worry.
