Spring in Florida
This year I caught the iris blooming. Because we heat up so quickly, these blooms come and go like lightning. Today it was 85 degrees when I ran to the grocery store. I think it’s above that now.
Pretty! I have some iris against the back of the house. They grow so tall that with a light rainfall or brisk wind, they want to lay down. I received a beautiful new magenta calla lily plant for my birthday to plant out there this summer. We'll see if they like to mingle together with the iris and day lilies. It gets mighty hot next to the brick house in the afternoon sun. We are at 35 today. Rough week of weather for spring break.

ReplyDeleteI see we are having 88 for a high most of the rest of the week. The low is 65-68. Oh boy
