Happy Thanksgiving, Friends

I've already had my nap. The house was full... and so was my belly.  The food turned out well, which is always a worry. That last minute rush to get everything hot and on the table is intense. Lots of baby love, toddler kisses, and kindergarden fun.  Nothing beats that.  I hope your holiday was filled with family and loved ones.

  1. This year was a more relaxing Thanksgiving. I had five guests plus us at the table. Much more manageable. Our little eight year old is so much fun. A great age. Made my mom’s cranberry pie for the first time ever. It turned out great. Pretty darn easy, too. I sent a whole Elegant Pumplin Pie home with one of our guests. Way too much food, but I’m getting better about it!

Bring on the leftovers! Turkey tetrazzini gets made today. Think I will freeze the taters for another meal.

  2. Friends, I hope you're day was all It should be. KK, I chuckle when you say the food Is HOT, when It hits the table, which Is one of my Pet Peeves. My wife alway's complains about how hot the food Is, only because her Mother was a Master at serving slightly warm food. YUK. I'll just bet those Grandkids got little or no loving from Grandma. LOL.

Beejay, Cranberry pie. Sounds great, and I must try. My eyes are getting OLD. I thought you said you sent " a whole Eggplant, Pumpkin Pie home " sounds interesting doesn't It? I glad you had a good day.

  3. Hahahaha. I read eggplant, too. Funny how our minds work, and sometimes work alike. And.... I did manage the time to steal A LOT of kisses, had a few beverages, and yukked it up. It was marvelous :)
