ReplyDelete2. Little man hit his head on something and was yelling pretty good. I picked him up and walked him a bit to help him over the hump. As we were walking and crying, through the pacifier, he was distracted, squawked out (and pointed), "Ghee." The one word he is working on mastering.... tree. I have a couple little decorated trees around the house.
3. I'm best with a shovel. I've used a snowblower, but they are so big and hard to maneuver. I've never hired out the help. A nice neighbor shoveled for me yesterday. What a great surprise.
4. I'll throw gloves on when the temps get as cold as they are today. I threw in flip flops for our southern gal... I wear my clogs year round, in spite of the snow.
5. I've skied, both water and snow. No interest in that anymore. Staying on my feet is priority! I love to play games though. Scrabble is my favorite, next to my dumb little farm game.
6. Only as a kid. I played flute in the band. I was also in a "modern dance" club at Mitchell.
7. Quiet evening. Some music, good food, possibly some channel surfing to see the ball drop. A puzzle is certainly in store with a White Russian... or maybe two?
A White Russian. I must have made a thousand of them as a Bartender, but never had one. Maybe I should try one. I would need HEAVY cream though, and I don't have any. Perhaps I will partake In a few shots of Aakavit, to Salut my Danish Heritage?
ReplyDeleteYou can keep that Aakavit - rat gut, lol. I make my own coffee simple syrup and pour it over ice, hit it with some vodka, then give it a small swig of my Sweet Italian Ice coffee creamer. Finish it up with some skim milk to dilute it. Diet beverage? (probably not) ;>
ReplyDeleteMy opinion. If YOU like It, that's all that matters. The Aakavit IS TERRIBLE, but I must admit, that after a few shots, It get's better.
DeleteI agree. I found a bottle of it while cleaning out my mother's house. The first shot is a killer, and the taste dulls slightly as you go..... hehehehe
