Happy Weekend

The sun is shining, the temperatures are rising, and the birds are singing.
There might be hope for spring?
Remember to spring forward this weekend.

  2. We have woodpeckers and cardinals leaving their nests. I have never seen hugsoid peckers before...adults, yes, but not the young ones. However, in Florida, everything is lively. Kk, I have seen exactly two snakes. Just two. Folks think that’s all we have here. Not true.

  3. I have 1/2 of my clocks changed... thought I'd confuse Dave (and myself) LOL
No, really, the rest change on their own, but if he wakes up before the time change..

  5. MC, That's a devious, but really funny idea. I looks to be a beautiful day to sit outside with Suzy, and enjoy the semi warmth, and of course a GREAT smoke. OH how I wish I hadn't quit. What a life.

  6. Hello all from a very wintery Sweden. I got a warning for a snow storm that is making it's way over us. The girls sleds are vuried somewhere out in the yard and they dont even care. The wxcitement of sledding has passed. We all just want to say good bye to this white stuff and say hello to the ick and mud of early Spring. My SIL and BIL that libe farther north are still covered in 5 or so feet of snow. This is truly the winter refuses to give up.

I am thankful for my light therapy lamp as I think Id be truly in the depths of a pretty serious winter depression as it is now its just the blues, but thats to be expected with this weather. Im just trying to remember that it wont be snowing in July.... right??

Anyways, I was reminded again to come visit I know Ive been terrible at it.

Speaking of visiting my family and I will be in Racine for the most of July, it will be nice to be home for a bit.. its been 3 years since last..

    Take it easy!

  7. Hey all.... thanks for the facebook birthday wishes! I heard from many irregulars today and it made me happy: Lizardmom, Drew, THB, Sonia, and Why Not!.

I made a fancy Boston cream cake last week and shared the leftovers with coworkers, so no cake for me today. This is a decade birthday and impossible to believe the number. Where does time go?

I came down with a terrible cold/flu on Thursday. I stayed home from work on Friday with a fever that finally broke this morning. It is good to be on the mend. Hated to, but had to cancel the planned grandkids crawling all over me celebration. My son said, you don't get a year older until you cut the cake. I have a sneaky 2 week extension on official "old age" until the make-up party!

  10. We are in "spring" mode with temps in the 40's one day and 70 the next. After 2 weeks I am finally on the mend with this flu thing. I'll say one thing about this flu, it zaps your energy. But I feel good now and life is good.

  11. I think this is my 3rd round of catching a bug this winter. It has been a very rough season. I did get my flu shot, but it sure wasn't effective this year.

Nice to see you, OKIE! Wonderful to have the gang roundup! :D @MinnesotaChick, feels more like 100 than 30 :P
