YES, we do. This was ALWAY'S a special day for my Mother, and her two sisters, to visit ALL of the graves of they're family with flowers, or even just Lilacs. It was NEVER a day of Picnics, and Drinking. WELL, maybe Drinking, because they ALWAY'S did that.
Visiting and tending graves is something we always did with my grandma when we would take the train and spend part of the summer with her. It leaves an impression on children that honoring others is important. It also gives us a sense of our transient being on earth and the need to care for each other.
