Tuesday Thoughts

I did some late planting of seeds 2 weeks ago. Some cantaloupe and lettuce are popping up. I may need to get some tomatoes and cukes that have been already started, or stop watching the dirt so they will sprout. My garden is up against the west brick wall of the house. It gets toasty and stays warm late into the season. We'll see what happens. It is a good excuse to get outside and putter.

  1. Friday thoughts... to your Tuesday thoughts.
Late planting this year (again) But did get to pick up my sweet 100 and yellow cherry tomatoes. Trying a new type this year too. Called Black Cherry cherry tomatoes. Hopefully will get them planted this weekend!

  2. For some reason, I never find the cherry tomato plants. I love to stand outside, pluck one and immediately eat it! My Roma tomatoes are finally coming up, and I see glimmers of hope from the peppers. With this crazy weather (dropping 30 degrees in one day) who knows what will grow. Looks like a bumper crop of cantaloupe for me this year. They seem to love the crazy.
