Weekday Funny
If I had a nickel for every time..... I think my mom used them all; she was notorious for her adages. I remember 1, 2 and 3 being used frequently. She saved 7 and 10 for when she deemed the conversation over.
I remember a few of those! My Mom's favorite answer when we asked for something ( a toy or something like that) Me: Can I have one of these? Mom: Sure, 10 of them.
2,3,4, and 10 were VERY common. I think number 2 was most common among the 5 of us kids. We never jumped on the beds, because they were so soft you didn't bounce. When Corn, Peas, Green Beans, Carrots, are the only vegies you ever had, It's pretty hard not to eat them.
