Open Blog - Weekend
For some reason, this made me think of that hard frosting-like "dots" that came on a strip of white paper. It was always my favorite penny candy. There was no way to eat it without eating some paper... but we didn't mind.
You are correct KK, They probably were banned because of such a horrible thing, like eating paper? Hell, I ate gallons of the White Paste In Grade school. I wish I had some now.
Smiling, Toad.... I was never a paste eater. I remember a kid in elementary school, trying to talk me into it. No dice. We did poison ourselves, though, with the mercury from the science kits. I remember putting it into our bare hands and rolling it around. Some kids threw it to the ground and it scattered into a million little balls.
Ah.. I remember playing with mercury! How cool it was. Might explain a few things about me... lol Liked the smell of paste, but don't thing I ever ate any.
