Good morning, everyone. Finally broke down and turned on the heat. It was 64 degrees in the house. Hot one minute, freezing the next. I still have tomatoes on the vine, sheltered by the warmth of the bricks on the house. Won't be long and they'll have to come in. Weather guys saying that it will be warmer today and tomorrow. Right now it is gray, damp and brrrrrrr.
Sorry to not be checking in! I pulled my little garden a couple weeks ago. Been gray and damp misty all day. Was just out and the skies are clearing and I can see the moon.
When I was younger, St Frances had a " Dutchland Dairy " restaurant. They had what they called a " Haystack " of onion rings. They were really good. Shaved onions, coated, and deep fried. YUM.
