Winter Snow Warning with up to 11 inches of snow. I agree. It gets harder every year and is just too much. Then, the polar air is to arrive. Goody, the temperature is supposed to drop to frigid next week. It is pitch black dark in the morning as I'm shuffling out of the house. Dark an hour later when I get back home. Driving, grocery shopping, everything is harder with the winter weather. I remember when I thought it was pretty. Bah Humbug!
I feel like I stood In front of the train near the house today. I would guess we truly did have 11 inches. Of course the plows up here, were as nice as ever. They plow the entire highway over and over until about a foot and a half Is In the driveway, so you dig It out clean as a whistle, while all they do Is the actual driving lanes, so In the middle of the night, they put all of that snow BACK In the driveway, so I can go out In pain once again, and shovel It out. Not a SINGLE fucking kid In this "Town without pity" will EVER offer to shovel you're snow. Bah Humbug!
The plows do the same, here. I was totally shoveled out before bedtime last night. I heard the plows at 5:15 am shoving boulders from the intersection into my driveway, blocking me in before work. Why they don't take it to the curb when they initially come through is infuriating. Who has time to shovel before leaving for work? And... it usually happens 5-10 minutes before you have to leave the house.
A grown man knocked at the door to shovel yesterday. At that time, the bulk of the snow hadn't come down yet. Would have been pointless.
