Open Blog - Wednesday

hump day

noun

NORTH AMERICANinformal

1. Wednesday, regarded as the midpoint of a typical working week.

"it's hump day and perhaps the toughest day of the week for you"

The good news is that for most of us, the work day is over. We've already beaten the "hump."

Happy May Day - Open Blog

I have a memory of our class going out to the playground at Mitchell Elementary School for a history lesson. Our teacher had crepe paper attached to the tetherball poles, and we had a dance pattern routine we were directed to follow to create a specific decorative pattern on the Maypole. Real education.

Have a great day

For the next 3 weeks, I'm the test giver, a.k.a  the proctor.
It beats being being the "testee" and being judged, but it is just as stressful a process to watch.
Have you ever sat for the SAT, ACT, IB, AP or another 4-5 hour high stakes test?

Open Blog - Weekend

It can stop this tricky stuff at any time, now.

The week is flying by!

My Daily Excitement, Not!

Two Osprey helicopters just buzzed my house, rattling my windows. Stepped outside and saw the presidential helicopter behind them, heading down to Kenosha. Couple of my neighbors also came out because of the huge roar overhead. You would think they'd fly a little higher to keep from breaking windows. Not a fan....

Happy Easter

Did the bunny leave a little something for you?

Open Blog - Saturday

Open Blog, Friday

We worked hard. We finally made it.....

Good Morning?

Open Blog - Wednesday

Here is to a better Wednesday. Yesterday, I really lost faith in my fellow colleagues. I find as I get older, that the next generation just doesn't have the same work ethic or required common sense values needed to be a leader and role model for our youth.

Open Blog- Friday

I love science. Tonight is rotisserie chicken. I worked hard today; I'm letting the deli do the cooking.

Normally, the ibis ignore our yard. The other day, they decided to make a visit.

Spring in Florida

My yard is abloom with bougainvillea. They are so beautiful.
