Bring it on.....I'm ready to enjoy some sightseeing. Friends staying here for a couple days on their way back to WI for the summer. I think they may arrive a bit before summer up there though.
The sun is shining, the critters are frolicking. They are saying it will be in the 60's today. That, is my kind of weather. Only 13 days left to the school year. Things are looking up!
Hello all, today we woke up to high winds and rain and a sinking feeling that the girls tent they had set up has blown away... so I jumped up at 5am (on my day off no less) and looked outside and yes it was no longer where it was supposed to be.. threw on some sweats and searched the neighborhood and found it in the neighbors yard.. was not a pleasant way to wake up, but was terribly pleasant to creep back under the covers and take out my book and read until I fell back asleep..

late to the party again! My sister and I went on the Iowa waterfall 'tour'. We followed the map and hit up the listed falls. Only 1/2 of them were truly falls, as in natural. The other 1/2 were man made dams, tho 1 looks really close to 'real'. I would not do them all again, but we found a couple really nice ones and they can be seen in a much more efficient way than the whole shebang. Nice trip overall. Hubby came home the same day we left :( we came back earlier than expected so I did get to see him for almost a full day before becoming a work widow again :) Back to work Wednesday. Full day of cleaning and catching up today, easier day tomorrow.
When you know you have something and can't remember where it is, even tho you KNOW you've kept it 'safe' for over 25 years and have come across it in passing over the years..... the search continues.....

We have the birds singing to us this morning on our patio. I just love hearing that.
ReplyDeleteTomorrow we are taking another trip up to Horicon Marsh by Fond du Lac for more birding. Drew is on vacation for the bird migration this week.
