  1. Do you suppose those are Merangue Cookies? My mom made Shaum Torte, that was wonderful. I never tried making the merangue.

  2. I think they call those macaroons? My mother tried a few times to make meringues, but they failed for her every time. She was also a fan of lemon meringue pie. Sometimes it worked, sometimes not.

    Well, the heat finally broke. I opened up the house and it feels nice to have the fresh air blowing inside.

  3. I knew I could count on you to spell Meringue for me. I was stumped. The secret to Meringue Cookies Is to do them REALLY slow on paper bags In a slow oven. Thats how my mom did It. I never learned.

  4. I've never made macaroons nor meringues. I've dabbled with marshmallow type frosting and have had success and failure, too. That is messy, very messy, but good when it works.

    Those brown paper bags are getting to be a rare commodity, everything is plastic. And, don't worry about spelling; I have to double check my own quite often. I hate it when I'm so off, spell check can't even help me. hahahaha
