Sunday Inspiration

  1. I think it is easy to beat ourselves up for what we perceive are weaknesses and fluff over the things we do well. We must have been taught to do this.

I watched an interesting video a colleague posted this morning on "being a man, or "man upping it." It spoke of how boys are taught to hide their weakness, to hide their anger. It went on to show people working with young men, and listening to them speak of this. It also mentioned the high rate of suicide in young men and related that to being unable to express their feelings. I'll look for it and try to post it if it is sharable.

  2. I just watched it. Kids today do have it tough, but it's now 'out there' so there are resources. They just need to know it.
When I was a kid, there was anything like that.
