My hummingbirds are hitting the feeder hard, fattening up to go on their journey home. I'm so sad. Flowers are dying off, temps are a little cooler and fall is around the corner. And I am in desperate need of a haircut and color.
One more week of freedom. I've got the back to school "do" all taken care of, and I am totally loving the cooler air. Love being able to open up the windows and let the house breathe. My garden is still ripening; lots of tomatoes and peppers on the vines. My parsley disappeared completely. Hmmm. Bet all those rabbits in my yard had something to do with that? I planted the parsley years ago from seed and it has been a faithful repeater every year.
