Open Blog - Thursday

Le Petit Prince. (The Little Prince)  Antoine de Saint-ExupĂ©ry
Best book I ever read. It was assigned as reading in French. Although simple in words, and few in pages, I had to buy the English translation to understand the depth. I think I get more out of it every time I read it.

  1. Sing a song of six pence, a pocket full of rye. Four and twenty blackbirds baked in a pie... The king was in the parlor, counting out his money....

Today is banking day. I've put it off as long as I can.... I like having money, and I really like earning money. I don't like spending money, and I absolutely hate managing money or dealing with banks.

  3. My twin sister alway's said " Gooder " Probably still does. I waved to MN. CHK. as I drove by today. She waved back. Has anybody else had the pull apart Brioche braided bread from Aldi's? It comes with a Vanilla filling, or Chocolate Chip, which Is what I bought today. " OH SO GOOD " The four pack of Brioche Buns are also REALLY good.

  4. The extension didn't work in Google docs, nor in MS Word. I guess it works in Facebook comments. I'm not too concerned about my typing skills while on FB. I'll let it go for awhile, and maybe trash it.

I've tried a bunch of Aldi bread, but have been disappointed with most of them. Their 12 grain bread is good, and their ciabatta rolls aren't bad of you toast them, but the rest have been a let down. I like their mini bagels. I'll look for the Brioche. Sounds more like a desert item?
