On Saturday I went to pick up the dog from fishing. I had the roof open along with my window. As I parked I heard a mean buzz. A really mad buzz. Looked over and there was a huge bumble bee at the passengers side window. I turned the car off and jumped out. Ran over to the door and opened it. Luckily he flew out. Two kids were standing there watching the whole thing and then we all talked about being stung. It was amusing. Back to work after a lovely 3 day weekend. Hubby gets cataract surgery this afternoon. Hopefully everything will go good.
OKIE, I have a new respect for stinging insects since my sister-in-law was stung and died within moments (although they did keep her on life support for four days.). No prior reaction and had been stung by various insects throughout her lifetime. Yep, keep them away from you.
Hope Mr. Okie is doing okay! My mom breezed through it. People say they are amazed at how they can instantly see clearer.
Beejay, I will never forget you telling us about your friend. What a horrible thing to happen, just out of the blue like that.
Today went by quickly. Hope the rest of the week is as easy. Thursday will be my busiest. We are hosting a big shindig. I hate public speaking. Hoping to squeak out my part and hide afterward.
