it's been a good week, had Wednesday off, so I'm still not sure what day I'm on. I got cut early, so I'm going to uber productive til I need to crash to open tomorrow
Our Hardee's opened two day's ago. I now have a nice place to eat. McDonald's across the street has prices set to VACATION LAND, which this city If certainly NOT. Wendy's Is In a Gas Station, Taco Bell Is In a Gas Station, and Culvers Is so expensive It's not worth It.
Toad, you have little town blues. We have big city blues. I guess no matter where you are, there are ups and downs. Hey, Toad, I thought of you yesterday while I was royally messing up my kitchen. I made a three layer espresso chocolate cake with homemade marshmallow frosting. I had boiled sugar everywhere. The cake is messy, but its gooood! Wish I could send you a piece.
My fingernails officially have dirt under them. He-he, hoo-hoo. The tomatoes are in, the peppers are in. I might have to go round 2 with the chipmunks before I can plant the front flower box. I believe there is a new couple who think the former occupants have vacated, and they can sublet. Grrr. Fighting nature. Yesterday, it was carpenter ants in the garage. Little piles of sawdust. This is the city.... I'd never make it in the country! hahaha
