Today is the day to honor and remember those who lost their lives defending our freedom, our safety, our principles, and our country. Every day we should thank all that give of themselves to protect us. To the brave men and women who selflessly serve, Thank You!
Today we celebrate 1 full year at our new location. We are not quite a teenager, yet. I believe next month we celebrate 10 years of independent blogging and friendship. We can count even more if you figure in our original news site where we all met. My, how the time flies!

I have a memory of our class going out to the playground at Mitchell Elementary School for a history lesson. Our teacher had crepe paper attached to the tetherball poles, and we had a dance pattern routine we were directed to follow to create a specific decorative pattern on the Maypole. Real education.
For the next 3 weeks, I'm the test giver, a.k.a the proctor.
It beats being being the "testee" and being judged, but it is just as stressful a process to watch.
