Good morning everyone. Nothing specifically planned for the day yet, but it is a fantastic weather day. More heat on the way, so enjoy it while you can....
My hostas are finally in bloom. I was sitting on the couch a little while ago and looking out the door.... and there was a tiny hummingbird visiting the flowers.
Not sure what the average is. Mine might last 2-3 weeks or so? These grow so tall, that they bend over when they are starting to lose the flowers. I usually cut back the stems or they would take over the front yard.
Seems so late for hostas to bloom.. ours have bloomed long ago..
I am taking my first full weekend off.. my first two days in a row off since I got back from my vacation.. should be nice.. I really look forward to sleeping in..

ReplyDeleteMy hostas (that came with the house) have been blooming. I think they may be just bout done? How long do the blooms last?
