I bought myself an electric hedge trimmer. Big beast. My shoulder won't tolerate the "chop-chop" of the manual anymore, and my yard is getting extremely shaggy. I'm a little nervous.... it looks like a chain saw to me! Wish me luck!
Today starts my vacation! I get 4 weeks to relax and prepare for the fall months at Rimforsa Strand. This is the first year I've been solely responsible for the housekeeping team and prepare the replacements for the summer and see the that all the ordering is under control, it was nerve-wracking but I think I got it figured out and I feel I can relax in good conscience.
On Tuesday we're heading to the family summer house in the west coast of Sweden. It's a magical place and somewhere I'm forced to just take it easy.

I fired up the "chain saw" this morning. My arms are still shaky from handling and maneuvering it. When did I become such a weakling? ;> No decapitations, or major blunders. The 2 bushes I tackled look fairly good....
Morning.....making one of those key lime coconut cream pies for a friend here in FL. I always think of kk when I make that pie......
